My Role as a Funeral Celebrant
As your funeral celebrant, I work closely with you to:
- Listen and learn about your loved one’s life, personality, and wishes
- Create a unique ceremony that reflects their story, values, and legacy
- Offer support and guidance around readings, music, tributes, and tone
- Lead the ceremony with compassion, professionalism, and care

Why choose a Celebrant-led Funeral?
Unlike traditional religious services, a celebrant-led ceremony is uniquely tailored to reflect the life, beliefs, and personality of the person who has passed. This can include:
- Personal stories and tributes
- Music, readings, and poetry of your choosing
- Spiritual or non-religious elements (or a blend of both)
- Involvement from friends and family
Every life is unique, and farewells should be too.
What I offer
- A Compassionate Consultation: I’ll meet with you (in person or virtually) to listen, gather memories, and understand your loved one’s story.
- A Fully Customised Ceremony Script: Written with care, reviewed by you, and delivered with warmth.
- Support & Guidance: From choosing readings to coordinating with funeral directors, I’ll be by your side.
- Ceremony Delivery: On the day, I’ll lead the service with empathy and professionalism, and care.

My fee for a funeral Service is £250, which covers the following:
- All phone and email communications.
- Personal visit to collect the information needed for me to write the funeral service.
- The Service sent to you to check as many times as needed until you are entirely happy with it.
- Help and advice on poetry, readings and music included in the ceremony.
- Conducting the funeral service on the day with with the agreed service, music, tributes all written down and in order.
- Provide you with a specially printed keepsake version of your loved one’s life story after the service.
